Thomas R Hunt Auctioneers is honored to offer, via competitive bidding, the TURN KEY purchase of Master Pawn, LLC. This is NOT a liquidation, but an opportunity to acquire, the operating LLC, including inventory, equipment, pawn loans, and intangibles, of a highly profitable business in a thriving market. Daily operations will continue under current ownership until the day of settlement. Current inventories for firearms, ammo/accessories, clothing, outstanding pawn loans, and layaways are available under the Documents tab for Bidders to review. An updated inventory will be posted the day bidding opens. Final purchase price and Bill of Sale will include the high bid on Master Pawn, LLC., including its operating assets, plus the costs of total inventories as of the day of settlement, plus a 7% Buyer's Premium added to the total.
A final inventory will be determined from a two-party inventory audit(if requested by the Winning bidder), with additions and subtractions to inventories made at cost of new arrivals and Costs of Goods Sold in any sales made after the final published inventory and before settlement. Items in layaway are in a separate inventory, included under the Documents tab. The Winning Bidder will be credited any payments made toward these layaways at time of settlement, in effect paying only the net balance. Management Report Summary's will be available to qualified bidder executing a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Total Inventory Costs as of Sept 4th, 2023 (START OF BIDDING): $2,036,381.65.
The current 11,000+/- sf physical location, 139 E. Main St., is under common ownership with Master Pawn, LLC., and will be made available to the winning bidder in the form of a 2 year lease, with option to renew. See attached under Documents. Should the winning bidder choose not to lease or purchase the current location, the property shall be deed restricted from the sale of firearms and ammo for a period of five years from the date of settlement or five years from the last date of occupancy by the winning bidder.
The owner/shareholders of Master Pawn, LLC will enter into a Non-Compete Agreement with the winning bidder. This agreement will remain in effect for a period of 5 years. See attached under Documents.
Thomas R. Hunt Auctioneers has made every effort to provide accurate information relative to this offering. Any sale involving intangibles and goodwill, such as those between customer and retailer, and retailer and vendors, are always subjective and loosely defined. Prospective Bidders should plan to make inspections and do their due diligence in order to make informed decisions. The only adjustments will be on inventory fluctuations due to sales, deliveries, and discrepancies between the provided inventory and actual counts.
